My mothers heart is at peace tonight.....Seth is right where he belongs, with his Mommy, Daddy and sister. After much frustration, and not taking no for an answer, we received our approval in writing which was enough for us to bring him home with us tonight. We also went for our physical which went well and we also have a new birth certificate naming us as his parents and his adoption decree. Tomorrow we should have his passport (the Mongolian mafia is helping to expedite this process:)) and our Embassy appt either tomorrow or Wednesday. We still have a contract to sign with the Mongolian government, pray for this to happen tomorrow as well. It would be nice to have everything done by Wednesday, so we can do some last minute sight seeing and shopping with Seth!! We will post some pictures shortly.....
As for Seth, he literally took our hand and walked away with us....some of the nanny's were crying but he was laughing and smiling and could not wait to get out the door...we kept having to pull him back as the director was talking to us. We stopped for a quick dinner and now back at the hotel, he is singing and coloring....nothing but smiles:) We are actually getting ready for our first bath and he cannot wait to put on the Superman Pj"s....thanks Jonas for passing them down...

PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!! I just called your Mom Stac, she was walking. We both cried! This is the best news ever. Love him up & enjoy him. We are celebrating with you in spirit.

YIPPPEEEEEE!!!!! Amazing. So amazing and so unbelievably perfect. We are rejoicing with tears and shouts of joy at the Tait house. Give that boy a kiss for us - can't wait to see you all get off that plane.

YEAH!!! I've been checking and checking your blog. Now I can go to bed for the night! So surprised that you already have the birth certificate and adoption certificate. That took us several more days after getting the contract signed with INS. So glad to hear that Seth is right where he belongs!
It is official... Petrin table for 6!! Well, official enough anyway! I bet you get the best night sleep yet! So excited for you all. I love that he walked right out never looking back. He already knows what an awesome family he is now a part of! See you back home soon!!

Hi, just got home, but none of the chats were lit up, guess you've all gone to bed, a much needed rest is to be had by all 4. Seth Petrin, sounds so good to the ears. Hearing your story of how Seth left reminds me of Wendy leaving. She was so excited. No sadness to be saying goodbye - just looking forward to the adventure that awaited her! I am so happy that Seth is the same way! What an awesome kid! I still chuckle (and have been telling people) about how he would tell the kids "just you wait till my daddy gets here!" :) That is so awesome!! I can't wait to meet him! :)
